Quotation and scope
Quotations should be based on the information supplied about goods, locations, floor, lift, carrying distance, route and requested services. Material changes to inventory, access or service scope may require a revised quotation.
Customer responsibilities
Customers should disclose fragile, unusually heavy, high-value, technical, hazardous or restricted goods in advance. Cash, jewellery, medicines, personal documents and irreplaceable items should remain with the customer.
Packing and dismantling
Only items and work included in the agreed scope should be assumed to be covered. Technical disconnection or installation may require qualified technicians, particularly for appliances, electrical systems and specialised equipment.
Loading and access
Parking distance, floor level, stairs, lift restrictions, narrow passages and building permissions affect labour and timing. Any access issue that differs from the original information should be reported before move day.
Transit and delivery
Delivery timing can be affected by distance, route, traffic, weather, shared transport arrangements and conditions beyond ordinary control. Any estimated schedule should be read together with the final quotation.
Transit insurance or coverage
Coverage is not assumed unless it is specifically offered and documented. Customers should read the policy/certificate, declared value, exclusions, excess and claim requirements where applicable.
Storage
Storage terms should define billing period, access, retrieval notice, prohibited goods and handling charges. Perishable, hazardous, illegal and other unsuitable goods must not be placed in storage.
Cancellation and rescheduling
Cancellation or date-change implications depend on crew, vehicle, material and route commitments already made. The applicable terms should be confirmed in the quotation.
Damage reporting
Visible issues should be reported promptly and documented with photographs. Where an insurance or coverage claim applies, the procedure and time limits in the relevant document take priority.
Privacy
